The Florida Keys offer an unparalleled lifestyle that yields some unique homes. The Florida Keys from Key Largo to Key West have wide open horizons with turquoise waters on the Gulf and Florida Bay, as well as the Atlantic Ocean. Often times Elaine, you can frame that gorgeous view from multiple rooms within the same home. We locals call it our backyard. If the property isn’t directly on the water, there is often a community park or some other access point providing, pleasure and value to the property.
After earning a Bachelor of Business & Information Systems at Marshall University, I moved to the Florida Keys after a short stint in Central Florida managing industrial electrical projects for phosphate mines and orange juice plants. Becoming a Certified “Blind Whisperer”(TM) expert at opening troublesome blinds, window coverings and Levelors to reveal breathtaking views wasn’t my true calling at the time, but I’ve come to really embrace the role. Further, my background in electrical contracting to make finding those oddly placed light switches as easy as flipping a switch. My first job was a delivery driver for a lumber mill and home supply company in West Virginia, so I’m not scared to move something out of the way either.
