The Rooftop Cafe
I had the opportunity to shoot a commercial property in Key West last week. The Rooftop Cafe. It was a bit of a bittersweet moment because it had been my mom’s favorite restaurant. We’d always make it a stop for Cuban Mix sandwiches when we were in town.
The fans weren’t spinning because the power was off. Talk about a hot shoot: Key West in August, in a closed building, no air conditioning. To quote Cosmo Kramer, “It was like a sauna in there!”
