Real Estate videos in the Florida Keys are one of our favorite items to create for Realtors. They have a wide berth for creativity and emotion from both behind the camera as well as in front of it. We specialize in AFFORDABLE property walk through videos that do not rock your prospects to sleep or make them sea sick. They are fun to watch and get buyers interested in taking a closer look at the property photos and generating leads for our clients.
Compliance
The local MLS requires no branding be on videos or photography in the Multiple Listing Service, which includes hosting any video on your YouTube account. Hiring us for your video ensures compliance with the MLS regulations and makes adding the video to your listing very simple.
YouTube, Facebook and other Social Media Platforms, Agent Websites and Single Property Websites have no such restrictions. Some agents enjoy getting in front of the camera to introduce prospective buyers and subscribers to their new listings. Here are two great examples of what we do for them.
Branded Video Samples Key Colony Beach Property Video with Agent on Camera
Marathon, FL Development Video with Agents on Camera and Fly in Effect
For those of your who are still a little shy in front of a camera, we can juice up your video with special effects, like time lapse, day to night video transitions, sound effects and more.
Here are some recent samples that received rave reviews.
Recent Non Branded Video Samples Big Pine Key Real Estate Video with Day to Night Transition
Key West Real Estate Video Fly Through (FAA Authorized and with Coordination with NAS Key West)
Islamorada Waterfront Condo Video With Sound Effects
So the next time you get a new listing in Key Largo, Tavernier or any of the Florida Keys, try shopping local instead of paying top dollar for a Miami film crew to drive ALL the way down here. We only have one road!

Occasionally, we receive requests for aerial photography in areas where drones are either prohibited or tightly restricted. In the Florida Keys, these locations start cropping up around mile marker 15 in the vicinity of Sugarloaf Shores, Big Coppitt Key, Geiger Key and some portions of Stock Island due to it’s proximity to NQX-Key West, which is The Boca Chica Air Field. This area is home to intensive military jet activity and can take several weeks to attempt to procure the necessary FAA Waiver PLUS provisional authorization from NQX for a very restricted drone operation requiring direct coordination with NQX Base Operations before, during and after the flight.
Additionally, EYW-Key West International airspace has its own set of rules and safety measures that must be followed in order to lawfully conduct any drone activity in the the class D airspace encompassing all of Key West.
So if you need aerial photography south of Mile Marker 15 it is extremely important that you hire someone well versed with the laws and requirements for commercial drone work that also has manned aerial photography experience. Knowing what is possible by drone as well as what is possible with a helicopter flight will ensure that your project is completed safely, on time and at the best possible price. Sometimes the drone is the wrong tool for the job for the job and better images can be created if we simply caught a ride with Damien at Fly-KeyWest.com for your project. Here are some recent images taken aboard his Robinson R44 Clipper II helicopter.

After nearly 20 years experience marketing homes for sale from South Miami to Key West, plus 11 years photographing homes, condominiums, motels and commercial real estate from Homestead to Key West, you can count on us to make sure your images minimize distractions and emphasize positive attributes on the first visit. Homeowners and property managers can spend hours preparing homes for photography, so it is crucial to have an eye for the details and capture everything needed in a timely fashion on the first visit. Our team at Keys Property Visuals can make any home look good in just about any condition and can avoid things too difficult to move, but a little help from you can go a long way. Here are some tips if you have some extra time to prepare your home for the perfect shoot.
Exterior and Drone Photography Checklist
- Remove all vehicles and park far from the property (unless we’re featuring an electric car charger or space for boat trailer storage)
- Hide Trash Cans Recycle Bins and loose item
- Clean windows.
- Remove weeds, dead branches and palm fronds.
- Remove no trespassing and any other irrelevant signage.
- Inform all people in the home to be out of the working area.
Interior Photography Checklist:
- Turn all lights on, including lamps, under counter lights and stove lights.
- Replace all burned out bulbs. We highly recommend replacing any warm, yellow bulbs to 4k daylight bulbs wherever possible. Warm bulbs reflect yellow in your video and photos. We do our best to correct that effect, but changing the bulbs will produce the best results, especially for cinematic video.
- Clean Windows, Mirrors and fans.
- Open the drapes and blinds If the blinds stack up at the top of the window without a valance to conceal them, keep them closed and adjust the slats parallel to the floor so you can see out (unless there is a junkyard next door)
- Conceal large personal photos, extension cords and wires.
- Turn televisions off, we will add a beachy image later for you.
- Remove clutter, store removed items inside of closets, cabinets or another area that won’t be photographed.
- Remove any evidence of pets including water bowls, food bowls, beds and kennels.
- Avoid props and over-staging a scene. Existing items like flower vases or coffee table books are ok to leave in. Adding in a pitcher of Margaritas, glasses, chips and salsa, is overkill.
- Beds should be made including dust ruffles if applicable.
Kitchen Checklist:
- Clear all counter tops, including any sink and cleaning supplies.
- Limit small appliances to one or two per counter unless there are holes in your backsplash.
- Front of refrigerator should be clear of magnets, paper and pictures.
- Hide cleaning brushes, sponges, hand towels and trash cans.
- Clean and organize the pantry if you want it captured.
- Bathroom Checklist:
- Toilet lids should be down.
- Clear the vanity of all personal items, especially those with overt branding (We’re not advertising Febreze or Poo-pourri)
- Hide cleaning brushes and trash cans.
- Any towels left out should be fresh and neat.
Matterport/360 Scans:
- Please note that we do our best to avoid capturing the Matterport camera in mirrors and reflective services, sometimes it cannot be completely avoided.
