Shooting homes for over 10 years has given me the opportunity to shoot some wildlife photos from time to time.  It is much safer and less disruptive to zoom in on them from the ground as some of the predatory birds will chase the drone to defend their territory or worse yet, seeking an unhealthy meal.  It may seem counter intuitive, but the best way to avoid collisions with wildlife is to ascend quickly directly vertical. This unusual movement typically makes clear that it is not a bird that they are chasing.  Even so, they are on to you and it is best to quickly abort the flight and fly another day.
